Welcome to the Homepage of the Sam Davis Camp 596. As a historical organization, one of our primary goals is to pay homage to our Confederate ancestors and help educate people about the truths of our great and proud heritage. Camp meetings are regularly scheduled on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the St. Martin Library in Biloxi, Mississippi.
"...I would sooner die a thousand deaths rather than betray a friend or be false to duty."
Pvt. Sam Davis, First Tennessee

To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we submit the vindication of the cause for which we fought. To your strength will be given the defense of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles which he loved and which made him glorious, and which you also cherish. Remember it is your duty to see that the true history of the South is presented to future generations."
