THE BEAUVOIR CADET CAMP
Sponsored and Hosted by
Beauvoir and the Sam Davis #596 S.C.V.
June 14th-18th, 2010

PURPOSE and GOALS
The purpose of this week long day camp to bring together
young men (ages 8-13) to be educated in our rich Southern History.
Our goal is to give each cadet a better understanding of the Crisis we call the War between the States. We shall do this through a mixture of both accurate demonstrations and truthful classroom curriculum.
The camp is structured in a military style, were your cadet will enlist, be trained in daily drill and graduate with full honors at the end of the week.

General Patrick Cleburne said;
"If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision. "

This summer you have the opportunity to help your child understand and take pride in his Heritage.

This will be a fun filled Living History Week packed with Military Drill, Artillery, Medical and Cavalry Demonstrations!

Registration deadline is June 10th
